Player tutorial 1
How to set up Parrot IPTV on IBO Player
IBO Player is popular on Samsung and LG smart TVs. Instead of typing your details with the TV remote, you usually add your playlist on the developer's website using the device details shown in the app.
What you need
- IBO Player installed from your TV's official app store
- Your Parrot IPTV M3U URL or Xtream Codes details
- A phone or computer with a web browser
Does IBO Player need its own activation?
Some versions do. Activation, trial length and price are set by the IBO Player developer, not by Parrot IPTV — check the app's own terms.
I added the playlist but nothing changed
Make sure you used the MAC address and key from this TV, then use Reload in the app or restart it.
Steps
- 1
Install IBO Player
Search for IBO Player in your device's official store:
- Samsung Smart TV — Samsung Apps
- LG Smart TV — LG Content Store / Apps
- Android TV — Google Play
- Fire TV — Amazon Appstore, where listed
- 2
Note your device details
Open the app. The start screen shows identifiers such as a MAC address and a device key. Write them down exactly — they are needed in the next step.
- 3
Open the official playlist page
On your phone or computer, go to the IBO Player developer's official website and open its device or playlist management page. Check the address carefully before entering anything.
- 4
Sign in with your device details
Enter the MAC address and device key shown on your TV to reach your device's playlist list.
- 5
Add your Parrot IPTV playlist
Choose the option that matches the details from our support team:
- M3U: give the playlist a name (e.g. Parrot IPTV) and paste the full M3U URL.
- Xtream Codes: enter a name, the server URL, your username and password.
- 6
Reload on the TV
Back on the TV, choose Reload or restart IBO Player. Your channels, movies and series load after a short wait.
