Setup guide
How to set up Parrot IPTV on iPhone & iPad
On iPhone and iPad you use a third-party IPTV player from the App Store. Several players support M3U playlists or Xtream Codes logins; App Store availability changes over time.
What you need
- An iPhone or iPad with a recent iOS/iPadOS version
- An Apple ID signed in to the App Store
- Your Parrot IPTV login details from support
Compatible player options
- IPTV player apps in the App StoreSearch “IPTV player” and choose one that supports Xtream Codes or M3U.
- VLC for MobileFree; open your M3U URL under Network → Open Network Stream.
Install apps only from the Apple App Store.
Installation steps
- 1
Install a player
Open the App Store, search for an IPTV player (or VLC for Mobile) and tap Get.
- 2
Open the player
Launch the app and look for an option such as Add Playlist, Add User or Network.
- 3
Add your details
Enter the Xtream Codes details or paste the M3U URL from support. In VLC, tap Network → Open Network Stream and paste the M3U URL.
- 4
Load and play
Wait for the channel list to load, then choose a channel or title.
Where to enter your subscription details
After your trial or order is processed, support sends your login details. Depending on the player, you will use either an Xtream Codes–style login (server URL, username and password) or a single M3U playlist URL. Enter them exactly as sent — they are case-sensitive, and an extra space at the end is a common cause of login errors.
Basic configuration
- Use AirPlay from a compatible player to send video to an Apple TV or AirPlay-enabled TV.
Troubleshooting
- Video buffers or freezes
- Use a wired Ethernet connection or a strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal, restart your router and device, and close other heavy downloads. HD streams generally need a stable 10–25 Mbps; 4K needs more. If buffering continues on several channels, contact support with the channel name and time.
- Login failed or “invalid credentials”
- Re-enter the server URL, username and password exactly as sent (including http:// and any port number). Check that your trial or subscription period has not ended and that you have not exceeded your number of connections.
